At The Justice Claims Group, we believe every policyholder deserves a fair shot at recovery. We’ve seen how devastating property loss can be, not just on paper but in our real lives. That’s why we’ve built a company grounded in integrity, empathy, and dependability. As a family-owned and operated business, trust and relationships are everything to us. We don’t just advocate for policyholders, we are policyholders. We know what it's like to be on the receiving end of a denied or underpaid claim, and we’ve made it our mission to stand in that gap for others.
Our role is simple: help you get what you’re entitled to under your policy. Whether we’re consulting with business owners, guiding homeowners, or navigating storm claims for communities, our goal is always the same—to do right by the people we serve.
How It All Started
The Justice Claims Group began with a shift in perspective—from working inside the insurance industry to standing beside the people affected by it. After nearly two decades working for major carriers, our founder saw how often policyholders were left overwhelmed and underpaid. He knew the system inside and out, and he knew it could be better.
In 2012, he made the move to become a Public Adjuster, spending the next eight years building trusted relationships and leading recovery efforts for clients across the region. By 2020, those years of experience laid the foundation for something bigger—the launch of Justice Claims. What started as a professional turning point quickly became something more personal. Just days after filing the paperwork, Rick and his family suffered the unexpected loss of his oldest son. The very day the company was born was also the day they said goodbye. That season shaped the heart of our company. It reminded us that behind every claim is a family, a story, and a life in need of a helping hand.
Rick has always been a leader, whether on the field coaching youth sports teams or in the claims world managing top-performing units. To this day, plenty of folks still call him “Coach Rick,” and honestly, it fits. He’s built a life around helping people—teaching, guiding, showing up when it counts. That spirit runs deep here, and we understand how important it is to have someone in your corner who cares.
What We Do
Our Public Adjusting firm helps both commercial and residential property owners navigate the insurance claims process after fire, hail, wind, or water damage. We handle inspections, estimates, and negotiations so our clients don’t have to.
Justice Claims Consulting supports organizations impacted by large-scale disasters. We help school districts, churches, municipalities, and other qualifying entities plan for recovery and access FEMA Public Assistance when it’s most important.
In every case, we work to simplify the process, maximize the outcome, and get people back on track faster.
